Today I am honored to tell the wedding story of Jill and Mike..
As I look through this set of images I can't help but remember how beautiful this day was. It seemed as though the angels in Heaven were looking down on Jill & Mike during their covenant; cheering and praising God for making two people so fit for each other. The room full of wedding guests confirmed this truth during an hour of tearful toasts, filled with examples of just how loved they really are.
Often times I try to use words to describe the importance of wedding photography. Other times my clients do it for me. Here is Jill and Mike's account:
We just finished the slideshow. A simple thank you is not enough to express our gratitude. We are blown away by the beautiful pictures you captured and we will truly cherish them for a lifetime! Thank you so much!
There was a picture you took of a friend of Mike's family during the cocktail hour. This photo was very special because he died suddenly just days after the wedding. Its a great photo of him and we are passing it along to his wife. She will love it. Out of all the guests, you got this great picture* of him all by himself. That sort of thing just doesn't happen by chance, truly divine intervention. We are especially grateful for this photo.
*I have kept this specific photo out of the blog due to respect for the Desing family
I can't tell you what it means to me to hear these words. Thank you to you both for being a new part of my story too. Enjoy!
